The Challenge
About this Project
PeerPower is a mobile investment platform focused on fixed-income products, enabling retail investors to browse, purchase, and track bond portfolios directly from their phones. The project aimed to demystify bond investing — traditionally perceived as complex and institutional — and make it accessible to a broader, digitally-native audience.

The Problem
Bond investing in Thailand has historically been limited to institutional players or high-net-worth individuals, with limited tooling for retail users. Existing platforms presented information in dense, table-heavy formats that assumed financial literacy — creating high drop-off rates among first-time investors unfamiliar with yield, maturity, or credit rating concepts.
The Solution
Redesigned the core investment flow to progressively disclose complexity — surfacing key decision-relevant data (return rate, risk level, term) upfront while keeping detailed financial breakdowns accessible but non-blocking. Portfolio tracking was restructured around visual performance summaries rather than raw data tables.
Design Process / Approach
Discovery Mapped the end-to-end investor journey from bond discovery through purchase and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Identified key drop-off points and information gaps that caused hesitation in the conversion funnel.
Information Design Worked on structuring financial data into scannable, decision-supportive layouts — balancing regulatory disclosure requirements with readability. Designed tiered content patterns that serve both first-time and experienced investors within the same screen.
UI Design Designed full screen coverage in Figma including bond listing, product detail, purchase flow, portfolio dashboard, and transaction history. Maintained a clean, trustworthy visual language appropriate for a financial product.
Handoff Produced developer-ready component specs with defined states (empty, loading, error, success) across all key screens.
